Our Program
Our IMSD program provides trainees a community of scholars who support each other’s success. Each trainee can choose from a menu of outstanding professional development opportunities that enables each individual student to reach their full potential. Our program also offers senior graduate student mentors and academic coaches to assist first year student’s with their transition into graduate school.
Our IMSD program offers students who may need additional coursework or research experience the option and flexibility to tailor their first year to meet their own specific needs. IMSD trainees can choose to take only one graduate course their first semester or engage in a full course load. The key to our program’s success is that we can tailor your experience to meet your own specific needs and research interests.
Last but not least, we also meet once a month as a community. The topics of the monthly meetings are set and facilitated by the IMSD trainees.
